Carrie Underwood brings twelve-year-old boy on stage

At one of Carrie Underwood's concerts in Louisville, KY Carrie gives one of her fans something he will never forget. The fans name was Chase he was 12 years old and was holding a sign that said "Will you be my first kiss?" Out of everyone in the crowd she spotted the sign and told the young boy to come up on stage. He had no idea what was going on but he went up there. Carrie went up to him and asked him how old he was, and then told him that she did not have her first kiss till she was 14 years old. She then looks at him and asks him "so how are we going to do this?" he said "lip to lip" like any boy looking up at her would say. She tells him to close his eyes then plants one on his lips. Afterwards she tells him, with smiles on both of there faces, that her husband is somewhere backstage and that he might be looking for him later. Once he was off stage she announced that this was a one time thing and that all the guys in the audience could stop looking for markers now.

Students Return to School

As many know Chicago teachers have been on strike. Many students skipped school, but the others still went to school sat and did nothing all day at school. Some parents sent there children to day cares so that they would be doing something and being with others. Families were very flustered and disorganized not knowing where to send there kids or what to do with them during the day when they were at work. Finally on Wednesday the teachers went back to school, the strike lasted 70 days. The teachers did not get everything that they wanted but they got a lot more that they wanted. The laid-off teachers also got something from this, any job that opened in the school the laid-off people would get the first call for if they wanted it. This whole thing will take a long time, the teachers will not see the difference right away but over time they will see it.

Door County boy gets wish of a lifetime

Bo Johnson has been fighting Leukemia for about a year now, and doctors have now told him that there is nothing more that they can do to help him. They could have tried more but he would have stayed in the hospital and not been able to come home at all. Bo, who is only 13 years old came home a few weeks ago, his choice. One of Bo's wishes were to go to a Packer game and meet his favorite player, Aaron Rodgers. his wish was granted. On Sunday the 9th the Green Bay Packers played the 49ers home. Some of his friends and then his family rolled down to the game in a limo. Before the game he got to meet what he thinks is the best player in the NFL, he said that he is having the best time of his life and never expected all of this to happen. He is now up in Door County with the support of his friends and family.

Samsung pays Apple $1 Billion

Apple claims that Samsung is stealing Apples' ideas with phones, music, and tablets. Even though it was not Samsung that they were suing, Samsung being the biggest Smartphone makers said that they would take the heat and fight back for all the other smaller companies out there. Apple filed the case in the summer of 2012,  Apple had there lawsuit against Samsung trying to get $2.5 billion, Samsung also fought back, not asking as much but asking for $399 million. Some of Apples charges were dropped, and almost all of Samsung were dropped. It went around the news saying that they sent all the money in 30 trucks full of dimes, this story even though it was very funny was false. It started at El Deforma, a place that is known for making stories up.

Apple also wants Smartphone companies to take off the market anything that has anything like the IPhone, IPad, or IPad. Doing this would and could destroy any other companies out there. It would cause them to have to take back millions of dollars and it would be a waist also.

I believe that this whole thing is not right, there should be some patents. But some go to far, you need to have some competition out there. There has to be something out there that is different from everything else, it cant all look and do the same thing. So I think that Samsung should be able to keep everything that they have made, because in this generation there is not much out there that they have not done, so you should not be able to put restrictions on stuff, definitively not on technology. Change will always happen there is nothing you can do about it. It happens, and we have to live with it.
